Merovingian Garnet Brooch

Sterling silver, garnet, and gold brooch, 2.5cm. Merovingian style brooch, handmade by M.C. Magnan in the Gaukler shop. Garnets are hand cut and polished 1mm thick sheets, backed by gold foil embossed with lines 3 to the millimeter. The brooch comes with extensive documentation, as it was constructed using appropriate Dark Ages technology.
